Some decisions you can hand to AI without a second thought, others never: 20 minutes to draw your line.
Booking a business trip, choosing a tool, deciding to drop a project: three decisions in the same week that call for different roles for AI. The first can be made by AI alone, the second is made with AI, and the third belongs to you. This module gives you the method to calibrate that balance, decision by decision.
What you’ll take away
- a 3-level scale, from the fully delegated decision to the one you own fully
- three reasons to keep a decision for yourself: enjoyment, meaning in your work, and skills you maintain
- the self-assurance to answer the machine: no, thank you, I prefer another option
Who it’s for
Anyone who makes decisions at work and wants to delegate to AI consciously, without handing over or keeping it all.
Learning objectives
- Recognize decisions already delegated to AI and why approving everything is exhausting and weakens judgment.
- Calibrate each decision consciously between three degrees (full delegation, shared decision, the decision we keep) based on stakes, expertise, and self-confidence.
- Choose to keep some decisions for what can’t be measured: enjoyment of the task, meaning, and autonomy.
- Set the team’s framework for decisions entrusted to AI, protecting confidentiality while avoiding over-control.
