Remote, not sidelined: Take your place on the team

AI visual

When you work remotely, no one decides to leave you out: that’s exactly what makes the drift invisible.

A decision made without you, a lunch you hear about afterward, an assignment that goes to a colleague: nothing malicious, and yet you’re being left out, little by little. This module gives you the tools to reverse the drift: make your work fully visible, say what bothered you without drama, and stop waiting for inclusion to happen on its own.

~20 min at your own paceKey skill: Inclusion at WorkAvailable in FR + ENNo prerequisites

What you’ll take away

  • the middle ground between hiding your difference and flaunting it
  • the visibility habits that counter proximity bias, even remotely
  • the simple words to say what stung, without blame or drama

Who it’s for

Anyone who wants to keep their place in the team, whether on site or remote.

Learning objectives

  1. Distinguish collective responsibility for inclusion from the part you can play in taking your own place.
  2. Own your uniqueness without hiding or flaunting it, keeping your focus on the shared mission.
  3. Counter proximity bias by making your work visible: sharing progress, speaking up early, and using office days strategically.
  4. Say calmly, adult to adult, what bothered you, and ask for help when nothing changes.
