Agile change: Start small, learn fast, then scale up

AI visual

Successful transformations rarely start with a big launch: they start quietly, driven by a few committed volunteers.

A small-scale trial, measured often, adjusted without waiting for the final review: that’s how change takes hold where large programs lose their way. This module guides you through the full cycle, including the expansion to the whole team, led by those who faced the first problems, and reminds you of your right to slow down when the workload is already heavy.

~20 min at your own paceKey skill: Change managementAvailable in FR + ENNo prerequisites

What you’ll take away

  • the format for a first test: a limited scope, a few volunteers, a quantified success criterion
  • a thirty-minute ritual that turns the week’s experience into shared knowledge
  • the agile handover: the pilot team trains those who follow, with no abrupt switch

Who it’s for

Managers and teams who want to transform the way they work through small steps that work.

Learning objectives

  1. Start small: a single priority, a pilot group of three to five volunteers, a two- to four-week sprint, a measurable goal.
  2. Adjust continuously through the weekly retrospective: what worked, what got in the way, what to change.
  3. Expand and anchor: document what was learned, turn the pilot team into trainers, and build the practices into ongoing rituals.
  4. Pace transformations: one priority at a time, a pause between two cycles, and the right to say “not now”.
